Q: How do you put it together?
A: Open your pen rod by taking off the cap, simply insert the reel between the two grooves on the pen (there is a moving piece which slides up and down) then twist the screw down to tighten the reel onto the rod.
Q: The rod fits in handle 3/8" only, and I cannot put the reel on. space is 1/4" too long with a nut screwed all the way down. How do I fix it?
A: Put screw all the way up towards the rod so it will fit and then tighten the screw so it will stay put.
